Dear Panther families,
As we embark on another exciting school year filled with growth, learning, and student achievement, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude for your support of our students and the various extracurricular activities they enjoy. Participation in athletics and extracurricular activities is not just about competition; it fosters teamwork, builds character, and creates lifelong memories.
We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Booster Clubs and all parents who contribute donations to support these organizations which play a vital role in enriching district-sponsored activities across our campuses.
However, as you may know, the costs associated with transportation for these events can be significant. CVUSD currently funds all transportation costs for school buses for in-season competition. Booster donations help support transportation costs only when the booster club requests a charter bus for the event or for off-season activities.
| We kindly ask you to consider making a contribution to help offset the transportation costs for our student-athletes. Your contribution will directly support the costs of buses for all in-season contests, allowing our students to travel safely and arrive ready to give their best on the field, court, or stage. |
The contribution for a 1st sport/activity is $145.00, the 2nd sport/activity is $95.00, and there is no charge for 3 or more sports/activities. The maximum individual contribution is $240.00.

It is our goal to make sure our students are transported to and from events, games, etc. through the safest mode of transportation.
*No student will be excluded from participation due to a lack of sufficient funds.
Newbury Park High School
Although students are required to travel on buses, vans, or other transportation provided by the District to all school sponsored activities, practices and/or games/events, because of compelling needs, parents may need to transport their child or ward.

before submitting to the Athletics Department
24 hours in advance of the date of the contest.
